यम उवाच । अप्रमाणं विभो कर्म संप्रयातं ममोचितम् । शुभाशुभपरिज्ञानं सर्वेषामेव देहिनाम्
yama uvāca | apramāṇaṃ vibho karma saṃprayātaṃ mamocitam | śubhāśubhaparijñānaṃ sarveṣāmeva dehinām
യമൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ പ്രഭോ! എനിക്ക് നിയോഗിക്കപ്പെട്ട കര്ത്തവ്യം ഇപ്പോൾ അളവറ്റതും അസ്ഥിരവുമായിരിക്കുന്നു; കാരണം എല്ലാ ദേഹികളുടെയും ശുഭാശുഭ കര്മ്മങ്ങൾ ഞാൻ വിവേചിച്ച് അറിയേണ്ടിവരുന്നു.
