त्रिशंकुरुवाच । अनेनैव शरीरेण स्वर्गाय गमनं प्रति । मया संप्रार्थितो यज्ञो वसिष्ठान्मुनिसत्तमात्
triśaṃkuruvāca | anenaiva śarīreṇa svargāya gamanaṃ prati | mayā saṃprārthito yajño vasiṣṭhānmunisattamāt
ത്രിശങ്കു പറഞ്ഞു: ഈ ശരീരത്തോടെയേ സ്വർഗത്തിലേക്ക് പോകണമെന്ന ആഗ്രഹത്തോടെ, അതിനായി മുനിശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ വസിഷ്ഠനോട് യജ്ഞം നടത്തണമെന്നു ഞാൻ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
