विश्वामित्र उवाच । वसिष्ठस्य भवान्याज्यस्तत्पुत्राणां विशेषतः । तत्कस्मादीदृशे पापे तैस्त्वमद्य नियोजितः
viśvāmitra uvāca | vasiṣṭhasya bhavānyājyastatputrāṇāṃ viśeṣataḥ | tatkasmādīdṛśe pāpe taistvamadya niyojitaḥ
വിശ്വാമിത്രൻ പറഞ്ഞു: നീ വസിഷ്ഠനുടെയും, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെയും, പൂജ്യനാണ്. എന്നാൽ ഇന്ന് അവർ നിന്നെ ഇത്തരമൊരു പാപാവസ്ഥയിൽ എന്തുകൊണ്ട് നിയോഗിച്ചു?
