सूत उवाच । सूर्यवंशसमुद्भूतो बृहदश्वसुतो बली । ख्यातः कुवलयाश्वेति धंधुमारस्तथैव सः
sūta uvāca | sūryavaṃśasamudbhūto bṛhadaśvasuto balī | khyātaḥ kuvalayāśveti dhaṃdhumārastathaiva saḥ
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അവൻ സൂര്യവംശത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച, ബൃഹദശ്വന്റെ ബലവാനായ പുത്രൻ; ‘കുവലയാശ്വൻ’ എന്നു ഖ്യാതനായ അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് ‘ധുന്ധുമാരൻ’ എന്നും സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്.
