tataḥ kopaparītātmā samunistāndvijottamān | śaśāpa tāraśabdena yathā śṛṇvaṃti kṛtsnaśaḥ

അപ്പോൾ കോപം മൂടിയ മനസ്സോടെ ആ മുനി, കഠിനമായ ‘താര’ ധ്വനി ഉച്ചരിച്ച് ശ്രേഷ്ഠ ദ്വിജന്മാരെ ശപിച്ചു; അത് എല്ലാവർക്കും വ്യക്തമായി കേൾക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
