नैषा वसुमती विप्र समुद्रेण विनाकृता । राजते वस्तुसंत्यक्ता यथा नारी विभूषिता
naiṣā vasumatī vipra samudreṇa vinākṛtā | rājate vastusaṃtyaktā yathā nārī vibhūṣitā
“ഹേ വിപ്രാ! സമുദ്രമില്ലാതെ ഈ വസുമതി ശോഭിക്കുന്നില്ല; തന്റെ അനിവാര്യ നിധി നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെ, അലങ്കരിച്ച സ്ത്രീയായാലും പൂർണ്ണതയില്ലാത്തതുപോലെ.”
