। ऋषय ऊचुः । यदेतद्भवता प्रोक्तं तं मुनिं प्रति सूतज । त्वया पुरा सुरार्थाय प्रपीतः पयसांनिधिः
| ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | yadetadbhavatā proktaṃ taṃ muniṃ prati sūtaja | tvayā purā surārthāya prapītaḥ payasāṃnidhiḥ
ഋഷികൾ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ സൂതപുത്രാ! ആ മുനിയെക്കുറിച്ച് നീ പറഞ്ഞതിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് പറയുക. ദേവന്മാരുടെ ഹിതാർത്ഥം പൂർവകാലത്ത് ക്ഷീരസമുദ്രം എങ്ങനെ പാനം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു?
