जमदग्निरुवाच । योऽर्थं प्राप्याधमो विप्रः शोचितव्येपि हृष्यति । न च पश्यति मन्दात्मा नरकं चा कुतोभयः
jamadagniruvāca | yo'rthaṃ prāpyādhamo vipraḥ śocitavyepi hṛṣyati | na ca paśyati mandātmā narakaṃ cā kutobhayaḥ
ജമദഗ്നി പറഞ്ഞു—ധനം ലഭിച്ച അധമ ബ്രാഹ്മണൻ ദുഃഖിക്കേണ്ട കാര്യങ്ങളിലും സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; ആ മന്ദാത്മാവ് നരകം കാണുന്നില്ല, പിന്നെ അവനു ഭയം എവിടെ നിന്ന്?
