Transliteration

devaśarmābhidhānaṃ tu śaraṇāgatavatsalam | āhitāgniṃ caturvedaṃ smṛtimārgānuyāyinam

Translation

അവന്റെ പേര് ദേവശർമാ—ശരണാഗതരോടു വാത്സല്യമുള്ളവൻ; ആഹിതാഗ്നി, ചതുര്‍വേദജ്ഞൻ, സ്മൃതിമാർഗാനുയായി.
