हंस उवाच । अपत्यार्थं समारंभो मयाऽद्य विहितः पुरा । तस्मात्त्वं देहि मे पुत्रान्वंशोद्धारक्ष मान्विभो
haṃsa uvāca | apatyārthaṃ samāraṃbho mayā'dya vihitaḥ purā | tasmāttvaṃ dehi me putrānvaṃśoddhārakṣa mānvibho
ഹംസൻ പറഞ്ഞു—സന്താനാർത്ഥമായി ഞാൻ പൂർവം ഈ അനുഷ്ഠാനം ആരംഭിച്ചിരുന്നു. അതിനാൽ ഹേ വിഭോ, എന്റെ വംശത്തെ ഉയർത്തി കാക്കുന്ന പുത്രന്മാരെ എനിക്കു ദയചെയ്യുക.
