धर्मं न व्ययते कोऽपि मुनीनां पूर्वसंचितम् । तपोधर्मविहीनानां गतिस्तेषां न विद्यते
dharmaṃ na vyayate ko'pi munīnāṃ pūrvasaṃcitam | tapodharmavihīnānāṃ gatisteṣāṃ na vidyate
പൂർവ്വമുനിമാർ സമ്പാദിച്ച ധർമ്മത്തെ ആരും ക്ഷയിപ്പിക്കാനാവില്ല; എന്നാൽ തപസ്സും ധർമ്മവും ഇല്ലാത്തവർക്ക് ശുഭഗതി ഇല്ല।
