याज्ञवल्क्य उवाच । अन्यायेन हि चेच्छापं गुरो मम प्रदास्यसि । अहमप्येव दास्यामि प्रतिशापं तवाधुना
yājñavalkya uvāca | anyāyena hi cecchāpaṃ guro mama pradāsyasi | ahamapyeva dāsyāmi pratiśāpaṃ tavādhunā
യാജ്ഞവൽക്യൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഗുരോ, നീ അന്യായമായി എനിക്ക് ശാപം നൽകാൻ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻയും ഈ നിമിഷം തന്നെ നിനക്കു പ്രതിശാപം ഉച്ചരിക്കും.
