ब्राह्मणा ऊचुः । भविष्यति कलौ विप्रा दौस्थ्यभावसमन्विताः । पठने नैव शक्ताश्च व्याख्यानस्य च का कथा

brāhmaṇā ūcuḥ | bhaviṣyati kalau viprā dausthyabhāvasamanvitāḥ | paṭhane naiva śaktāśca vyākhyānasya ca kā kathā

ബ്രാഹ്മണർ പറഞ്ഞു—കലിയുഗത്തിൽ വിപ്രർ ദാരിദ്ര്യവും ദുരവസ്ഥയും ചേർന്നവരാകും; പഠിക്കാനും ശക്തിയില്ല, പിന്നെ വ്യാഖ്യാനം എങ്ങിനെ?
