Narrative voice (Purāṇic exposition; speaker not explicit in this verse)
Scene: A cosmic classroom: a lunar calendar wheel with an inserted adhimāsa segment; beside it, a nakṣatra ring and moving grahas traced along arcs, showing why each measure is used.
Sacred time is carefully harmonized: lunar months may be corrected by adhimāsa, while stellar measures support accurate astronomical calculation.
The setting remains Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra-māhātmya, though the verse itself focuses on calendrical science rather than site-praise.
It implies correct calendrical alignment (including adhimāsa) for observances, and notes nakṣatra-measure for planetary computations.
