शालकैर्बांधवाश्चैव ह्यसतीभिः कुलस्त्रियः । शूद्रास्तपस्विनश्चैव शूद्रा धर्मस्य सूचकाः
śālakairbāṃdhavāścaiva hyasatībhiḥ kulastriyaḥ | śūdrāstapasvinaścaiva śūdrā dharmasya sūcakāḥ
കലിയുഗത്തിൽ കുലസ്ത്രീകൾ ശാലകർ, ബന്ധുബാന്ധവർ, അസതീ സങ്കേതങ്ങൾ എന്നിവകൊണ്ട് ചുറ്റപ്പെടും. ശൂദ്രർ തപസ്വിയുടെ വേഷം ധരിക്കും; ‘ധർമ്മം’ എന്നു പറയുന്നതിനെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുകയും നിർണ്ണയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവരായും ശൂദ്രർ തന്നെ മാറും.
