अन्योऽपि मर्त्यलोकेत्र यः करिष्यति मानवः । मकरस्थे रवौ मह्यं संक्रांतौ रजनीमुखे । स नूनं मद्गणो भावी सकृत्कृत्वाऽथ कंबलम्
anyo'pi martyaloketra yaḥ kariṣyati mānavaḥ | makarasthe ravau mahyaṃ saṃkrāṃtau rajanīmukhe | sa nūnaṃ madgaṇo bhāvī sakṛtkṛtvā'tha kaṃbalam
മർത്ത്യലോകത്തിൽ മറ്റേതെങ്കിലും മനുഷ്യൻ എന്റെ നിമിത്തം ഈ കർമ്മം ചെയ്താൽ—സൂര്യൻ മകരത്തിൽ നിലകൊള്ളുമ്പോൾ, സംക്രാന്തി സമയത്ത്, രാത്രിയുടെ ആരംഭത്തിൽ—ഘൃതകംബളം ഒരിക്കൽ മാത്രം ചെയ്താലും/അർപ്പിച്ചാലും അവൻ തീർച്ചയായും എന്റെ ഗണമായിത്തീരും.
