तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा निराशः स महीपतिः । वैराग्यं परमं गत्वा मरणे कृतनिश्चयः
tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā nirāśaḥ sa mahīpatiḥ | vairāgyaṃ paramaṃ gatvā maraṇe kṛtaniścayaḥ
ആ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് രാജാവ് നിരാശനായി. പരമവൈരാഗ്യത്തിലേക്ക് കടന്ന് മരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ദൃഢനിശ്ചയം ചെയ്തു.
