जना ऊचुः । न वयं तत्पुरं विद्मो न देशं न च भूपतिम् । इन्द्रद्युम्नाभिधानं च यं त्वं पृच्छसि भद्रक
janā ūcuḥ | na vayaṃ tatpuraṃ vidmo na deśaṃ na ca bhūpatim | indradyumnābhidhānaṃ ca yaṃ tvaṃ pṛcchasi bhadraka
ജനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു—ഞങ്ങൾ ആ നഗരം അറിയുന്നില്ല, ആ ദേശവും അറിയുന്നില്ല, ആ രാജാവിനെയും അറിയുന്നില്ല. ഭദ്രപുരുഷാ, നിങ്ങൾ ചോദിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ദ്രദ്യുമ്നൻ എന്ന നാമധാരിയെയും ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ല।
