विधायापरपक्षे तु स्नापयित्वा विधानतः । मंडपाद्यं च प्राक्कृत्वा स्नात्वा धौतांबरः शुचिः

vidhāyāparapakṣe tu snāpayitvā vidhānataḥ | maṃḍapādyaṃ ca prākkṛtvā snātvā dhautāṃbaraḥ śuciḥ

പിന്നീട് കൃഷ്ണപക്ഷത്തിൽ അത് ക്രമപ്പെടുത്തി, വിധിപ്രകാരം സ്നാനകർമ്മം നടത്തണം. ആദ്യം മണ്ഡപാദി ഒരുക്കി, താനും സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത്, കഴുകിയ വസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചു ശുദ്ധനായി ഇരിക്കണം।
