bhagavañchrotumicchāmi pramāṇaṃ yugasaṃbhavam | māhātmyaṃ ca svarūpaṃ ca yathāvadvaktumarhasi

Translation

ഭഗവൻ! യുഗത്തിന്റെ ഉദ്ഭവപ്രമാണം (അളവ്) കേൾക്കാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ മഹാത്മ്യവും സ്വരൂപവും കൂടി—ദയചെയ്ത് യഥാവിധി പറയുക।
