तेषां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा वृत्रः प्रोवाच सादरम् । देवानहं हनिष्यामि गम्यतां तत्र मा चिरम्
teṣāṃ tadvacanaṃ śrutvā vṛtraḥ provāca sādaram | devānahaṃ haniṣyāmi gamyatāṃ tatra mā ciram
അവരുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് വൃത്രൻ ആദരത്തോടെ പറഞ്ഞു— ‘ഞാൻ ദേവന്മാരെ വധിക്കും. അവിടേക്ക് പോകൂ; വൈകിക്കരുത്.’
