ततः प्रभृति संजाता शिवरात्रिर्धरातले । सर्वकामप्रदा पुण्या सर्वपातकनाशिनी

tataḥ prabhṛti saṃjātā śivarātrirdharātale | sarvakāmapradā puṇyā sarvapātakanāśinī

അന്നുമുതൽ ഭൂമിയിൽ ശിവരാത്രി സ്ഥാപിതമായി—അത് പുണ്യപ്രദം, സർവകാമപ്രദം, സർവപാതകനാശിനി.
