लब्धं ज्ञानं कथमपि पंडितो नैव पातयेत् । नाहमस्मि न माता मे न पिता न च बांधवः
labdhaṃ jñānaṃ kathamapi paṃḍito naiva pātayet | nāhamasmi na mātā me na pitā na ca bāṃdhavaḥ
എങ്ങനെയായാലും ലഭിച്ച ജ്ഞാനം പണ്ഡിതൻ ഒരിക്കലും നഷ്ടപ്പെടാൻ അനുവദിക്കരുത്. ‘ഞാൻ (ദേഹ-അഹം) അല്ല; “എന്റെ അമ്മ” അല്ല, “എന്റെ അച്ഛൻ” അല്ല, “ബന്ധു” എന്നും എന്നെ നിർവചിക്കുന്നില്ല’ എന്ന് ധരിക്കണം.
