ciraṃjīva ciraṃ nanda ciraṃ naṃdaya bādhavān | ityuktvā gāḍhamāliṃgya mūrdhni cāghrāya taṃ sutam
‘ചിരഞ്ജീവിയായിരിക്ക, ദീർഘകാലം ആനന്ദിക്ക, ദീർഘകാലം ബന്ധുക്കൾക്ക് ആനന്ദം നൽകുക’ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവൾ മകനെ ഗാഢമായി ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്തു, അവന്റെ ശിരസ്സിനെ ചുംബിച്ചു (ഘ്രാണിച്ചു).
