आद्योऽयं रौरवो नाम नरको द्विजसत्तम । प्रतप्ततैलकुंभेषु पच्यंते यत्र जंतवः
ādyo'yaṃ rauravo nāma narako dvijasattama | prataptatailakuṃbheṣu pacyaṃte yatra jaṃtavaḥ
ഹേ ദ്വിജസത്തമാ! ആദ്യ നരകം ‘രൗരവ’ എന്ന പേരുള്ളതാണ്. അവിടെ ജീവികൾ കത്തുന്ന ചൂടെണ്ണ നിറഞ്ഞ കലങ്ങളിൽ വേവിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
