vedanārttojjvalavapurmahāśāpābhibhūtadhīḥ | taṃ tathā patitaṃ dṛṣṭvā ta ājagmurmaharṣayaḥ

വേദനയുടെ പീഡയിൽ അവന്റെ ദേഹം ജ്വലിച്ചു; മഹാശാപം അവന്റെ ബുദ്ധിയെ കീഴടക്കി. അവനെ അങ്ങനെ വീണുകിടക്കുന്നത് കണ്ട മഹർഷിമാർ അവിടേക്ക് വേഗം എത്തി.
