tasmāttvamapi deveśi rāmanāma sadā vada | rāmanāma japedyo vai mucyate sarvakilbiṣaiḥ
Skanda (deduced)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (addressed as deveśi)
Scene: A divine teacher addresses Devī: she holds a japamālā, repeating ‘Rāma’; dark smoke-like sins dissolve into light; a river-ghat silhouette suggests tīrtha backdrop without specifying a site.
Constant remembrance and repetition of Rāma-nāma is a direct means to purification and release from sin.
None is named; the verse is an instruction (upadeśa) about nāma-japa.
Always uttering and performing japa of ‘Rāma-nāma’ for liberation from all kilbiṣas (sins).
