yatsaptamaṃḍalānāṃ ca gamanaṃ ca karārpaṇam | vahniśca varuṇaḥ kṛṣṇo devatāśca savallabhāḥ

അത് എന്നുവെച്ചാൽ സപ്തമണ്ഡലങ്ങൾ ചുറ്റി നടക്കൽ, കൂടാതെ കരാർപ്പണം (ഹസ്തഗ്രഹണം/കന്യാദാനം) എന്ന വിധി. അവിടെ അഗ്നി, വരുണൻ, കൃഷ്ണൻ എന്നിവരും മറ്റു പ്രിയ ദേവതകളും സാക്ഷികളായും ശക്തികളായും നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു.
