പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ചാതുർമാസ്യകാലത്ത് ഈ അനുഷ്ഠാനം എല്ലാ ആഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെയും ഫലം നൽകുന്നു. വടവൃക്ഷത്തെ ആശ്രയിച്ച ബ്രഹ്മാവ് ജീവികൾക്ക് വരദാതാവാകുന്നു.
