गोविन्दोऽपि महाशापं लब्ध्वा स्वभवनं गतः । पार्वती च महेशानं कुपिता प्रणमय्य च

govindo'pi mahāśāpaṃ labdhvā svabhavanaṃ gataḥ | pārvatī ca maheśānaṃ kupitā praṇamayya ca

ഗോവിന്ദനും മഹാശാപം ലഭിച്ച ശേഷം തന്റെ സ്വഭവനത്തിലേക്കു പോയി. പാർവതിയും കോപത്തോടെ മഹേശാനനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു (അവിടെ നിന്ന്) മാറി പോയി.
