वामे ब्रह्मा दक्षिणे च हर एकः प्रकीर्तितः । पलाशपात्रे यो भुंक्ते नित्यमेव नरोत्तमः
vāme brahmā dakṣiṇe ca hara ekaḥ prakīrtitaḥ | palāśapātre yo bhuṃkte nityameva narottamaḥ
ഇടത്ത് ബ്രഹ്മാവും വലത്ത് ഹരൻ (ശിവൻ) മാത്രവും വസിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പ്രസിദ്ധം. പളാശപാത്രത്തിൽ നിത്യമായി ഭോജനം ചെയ്യുന്ന നരോത്തമൻ എപ്പോഴും പുണ്യഭാഗിയാകും.
