Narratorial voice within Brahma–Nārada dialogue (deduced from adhyāya colophon context)
Tirtha: Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra (Pālāśa/Brahma-vṛkṣa sthāna)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Nārada
Scene: A sacred Pālāśa/Brahma-tree within a kṣetra precinct, worshipped as Sthāṇu: devotees circumambulate with lamps and waterpots during the rainy-season Cāturmāsya; the tree radiates as ‘manifest Brahman’.
Faithful daily service to the divine—seen even in sacred tree-form—purifies the heart; Cāturmāsya intensifies that purification into pāpa-kṣaya.
The teaching is embedded in the Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra māhātmya within the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s Tīrthamāhātmya.
Daily service/worship (sevā) with śraddhā, especially during Cāturmāsya; veneration of the sacred tree-form associated with Sthāṇu.
