तेषां सौरपुरे वासः कदाचिन्नैव हीयते । शालिग्रामगतं विष्णुं सुमनोभिर्मनोहरैः । येऽर्चयंति महाशूद्र सुप्ते देवे हरौ तथा
teṣāṃ saurapure vāsaḥ kadācinnaiva hīyate | śāligrāmagataṃ viṣṇuṃ sumanobhirmanoharaiḥ | ye'rcayaṃti mahāśūdra supte deve harau tathā
അവർക്കു സൗരപുരത്തിലെ വാസം ഒരിക്കലും ക്ഷയിക്കുകയില്ല. ഹേ മഹാശൂദ്രാ! ശാലിഗ്രാമത്തിൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്ന വിഷ്ണുവിനെ മനോഹര സുഗന്ധപുഷ്പങ്ങളാൽ അർച്ചിക്കുന്നവർ—ദേവ ഹരി യോഗനിദ്രയിൽ ഇരുന്നാലും—അക്ഷയഫലം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
