गालव उवाच । असच्छूद्रगतं दास निषेधं विद्धि मानद । स्त्रीणामपि च साध्वीनां नैवाभावः प्रकीर्तितः
gālava uvāca | asacchūdragataṃ dāsa niṣedhaṃ viddhi mānada | strīṇāmapi ca sādhvīnāṃ naivābhāvaḥ prakīrtitaḥ
ഗാലവൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഓ മാന്യനായ ദാസാ, നിഷേധം ദുഷ്ടശൂദ്രനോടാണ് ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടത്; സ്ത്രീകളിലും, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് സാധ്വിയും ധർമ്മനിഷ്ഠയുമുള്ളവർക്കു, അയോഗ്യതയൊന്നും പ്രസ്താവിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.
