त्रिरात्रोपोषितस्त्वेको यावद्वर्षशतं नरः । एको विष्णुपदीतोये स्नाति द्वाभ्यां समं फलम्
trirātropoṣitastveko yāvadvarṣaśataṃ naraḥ | eko viṣṇupadītoye snāti dvābhyāṃ samaṃ phalam
നൂറു വർഷം വരെ ആവർത്തിച്ച് ത്രിരാത്രി ഉപവാസം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന് ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഫലം എത്രയോ; വിഷ്ണുപദീ തീർത്ഥജലത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്താലും ആ രണ്ടിനും തുല്യമായ ഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു।
