तदेव हि परं ज्ञानं कामो येन प्रजायते । महत्तपस्तदेवाहुश्चातुमास्ये फलोत्तमम्
tadeva hi paraṃ jñānaṃ kāmo yena prajāyate | mahattapastadevāhuścātumāsye phalottamam
കാമം ഏത് മൂലത്തിൽ നിന്നാണ് ജനിക്കുന്നത് എന്നത് മൂലതഃ അറിയുന്നതുതന്നെ പരമജ്ഞാനം. അതുതന്നെയാണ് മഹത്തപസ്സെന്ന് പറയുന്നു; ചാതുർമാസ്യത്തിൽ അതിന് ഉത്തമഫലം ലഭിക്കുന്നു।
