नारायणस्य प्रीत्यर्थं तदेवाक्षय्यमाप्यते । मर्त्यस्त्यजति श्रद्धावान्सोऽनंतफलभाग्भवेत्
nārāyaṇasya prītyarthaṃ tadevākṣayyamāpyate | martyastyajati śraddhāvānso'naṃtaphalabhāgbhavet
നാരായണന്റെ പ്രീതിക്കായി ചെയ്യപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ വ്രതം/ത്യാഗം അക്ഷയഫലം നൽകുന്നു. ശ്രദ്ധയോടെ ഇതു ആചരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യൻ അനന്തഫലങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗഭാക്കാകുന്നു.
