trirātropoṣito yastu caturmāsānsadā nayet | na sa bhūyo'pi jāyeta saṃsāre'tra kathaṃcana

മൂന്നു രാത്രികൾ ഉപവസിച്ച് ശേഷം വിധിപൂർവ്വം ചാതുർമാസ്യവ്രതം അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നവൻ ഈ സംസാരത്തിൽ എങ്ങനെയും വീണ്ടും ജനിക്കുകയില്ല.
