यो जपेत्पौरुषं सूक्तं स्नात्वा विष्णोः स्थितोऽग्रतः । मतिस्तस्य विवर्धेत शुक्लपक्षे यथोडुराट्
yo japetpauruṣaṃ sūktaṃ snātvā viṣṇoḥ sthito'grataḥ | matistasya vivardheta śuklapakṣe yathoḍurāṭ
സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് ഭഗവാൻ വിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് പൗരുഷ സൂക്തം ജപിക്കുന്നവന്റെ ബുദ്ധി, ശുക്ലപക്ഷത്തിൽ വളരുന്ന ചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ നിരന്തരം വർദ്ധിക്കുന്നു.
