पितृपात्रेषु त्रिष्वेव त्रिधा तच्च परिक्षिपेत् । एवं पिंडं त्रिधा कृत्वा पितृपिंडेषु च त्रिषु

Transliteration

pitṛpātreṣu triṣveva tridhā tacca parikṣipet | evaṃ piṃḍaṃ tridhā kṛtvā pitṛpiṃḍeṣu ca triṣu

Translation

പിതൃകൾക്കായി നിശ്ചയിച്ച മൂന്ന് പാത്രങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് ആ അർപ്പണം മൂന്ന് ഭാഗങ്ങളായി വിഭജിച്ച് ഇടണം. അതുപോലെ പിണ്ഡവും മൂന്ന് ഭാഗമാക്കി മൂന്ന് പിതൃപിണ്ഡങ്ങളിൽ സ്ഥാപിക്കണം.
