नान्यस्थानोद्भवैर्विप्रैः श्राद्धकर्मव्रतानि च । नागरो नागरैः कुर्यादन्यथा तद्वृथा भवेत्
nānyasthānodbhavairvipraiḥ śrāddhakarmavratāni ca | nāgaro nāgaraiḥ kuryādanyathā tadvṛthā bhavet
മറ്റു സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ജനിച്ച ബ്രാഹ്മണരെക്കൊണ്ട് ശ്രാദ്ധകർമ്മങ്ങളും വ്രതങ്ങളും ചെയ്യിക്കരുത്. നാഗരന്മാർ നാഗരബ്രാഹ്മണരെക്കൊണ്ടുതന്നെ അത് ചെയ്യിക്കണം; അല്ലാത്തപക്ഷം അത് നിഷ്ഫലമാകും.
