श्राद्धभुक्छ्राद्धदाता च यः सेवयति मैथुनम् । तस्य संवत्सरं यावत्पितरः शुक्रभोजिनः । प्रभवंति न संदेह इत्येषा वैदिकी श्रुतिः

śrāddhabhukchrāddhadātā ca yaḥ sevayati maithunam | tasya saṃvatsaraṃ yāvatpitaraḥ śukrabhojinaḥ | prabhavaṃti na saṃdeha ityeṣā vaidikī śrutiḥ

ശ്രാദ്ധഭോജനം കഴിച്ചവനോ ശ്രാദ്ധദാതാവോ—ആരെങ്കിലും മൈഥുനത്തിൽ ഏർപ്പെടുകയാണെങ്കിൽ, അവന്റെ പിതൃകൾ ഒരു വർഷം വരെ ശുക്രമാത്രം ആഹാരമാക്കി ജീവിക്കുന്നു; സംശയമില്ല—ഇത് വൈദിക ശ്രുതി പറയുന്നു।
