Transliteration

iha loke pare caiva pitṝṇāṃ ca prasādataḥ | kiṃ punarvividhairannai rasairvastraiḥ sadakṣiṇaiḥ

Translation

പിതൃകളുടെ പ്രസാദത്താൽ ഇഹലോകത്തിലും പരലോകത്തിലും ക്ഷേമം ലഭിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ നാനാവിധ അന്നം, രുചികൾ, വസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ, യഥോചിത ദക്ഷിണയോടുകൂടി ചെയ്താൽ ഫലം എത്രയോ അധികമാകും!
