मन्वादीरपि ते वच्मि ताः शृणुष्व नराधिप । पितॄणां वल्लभा नित्यं सर्वपापक्षयावहाः
manvādīrapi te vacmi tāḥ śṛṇuṣva narādhipa | pitṝṇāṃ vallabhā nityaṃ sarvapāpakṣayāvahāḥ
ഹേ നരാധിപാ! മന്വാദി മുതലായ പുണ്യാവസരങ്ങളും ഞാൻ നിന്നോട് പറയും; കേൾക്കുക. അവ പിതൃകൾക്ക് നിത്യപ്രിയവും സർവ്വപാപക്ഷയകാരിയും ആകുന്നു.
