ततो जांबवती पुत्रं दृष्ट्वा तीर्थोन्मुखं तदा । गच्छमानं प्रचक्रेऽथ प्रलापान्कुररी यथा
tato jāṃbavatī putraṃ dṛṣṭvā tīrthonmukhaṃ tadā | gacchamānaṃ pracakre'tha pralāpānkurarī yathā
അപ്പോൾ ജാംബവതി തന്റെ പുത്രൻ തീർത്ഥയാത്രയിലേക്കു മുഖം തിരിച്ച് പോകുന്നതു കണ്ടു, കുരരീ പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെ വിലപിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
