ततो गाढं करे धृत्वा दीपमानीय तत्क्षणात् । यावत्पश्यति सा माता नन्दिनीति च या स्मृता
tato gāḍhaṃ kare dhṛtvā dīpamānīya tatkṣaṇāt | yāvatpaśyati sā mātā nandinīti ca yā smṛtā
പിന്നീട് അവൾ അവന്റെ കൈ ഉറപ്പായി പിടിച്ച് ഉടൻ തന്നെ ദീപം കൊണ്ടുവന്നു, ‘നന്ദിനി’ എന്നു സ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ആ മാതാവ് വ്യക്തമായി കാണുവോളം।
