सूत उवाच । एतद्वः सर्वमाख्यातं विश्वामित्रीयमुत्तमम् । चतुर्थं च पुण्यतीर्थं स्त्रीणां चैव शुभावहम्
sūta uvāca | etadvaḥ sarvamākhyātaṃ viśvāmitrīyamuttamam | caturthaṃ ca puṇyatīrthaṃ strīṇāṃ caiva śubhāvaham
സൂതൻ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഈ എല്ലാം നിങ്ങളോടു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഉത്തമമായ ‘വിശ്വാമിത്രീയ’ മാഹാത്മ്യം. ഇത് നാലാമത്തെ പുണ്യതീർത്ഥം; സ്ത്രീകൾക്കും പ്രത്യേകമായി ശുഭഫലപ്രദം।”
