लक्ष्यते केनचित्पारो गाधेः पुत्रस्य धीमतः । क्षत्रियोऽपि द्विजत्वं यः संप्राप्तो द्विजसत्तमाः
lakṣyate kenacitpāro gādheḥ putrasya dhīmataḥ | kṣatriyo'pi dvijatvaṃ yaḥ saṃprāpto dvijasattamāḥ
ചിലർക്കു ആ ധീമാനായ ഗാധിപുത്രന്റെ ‘അന്തം’ കണ്ടുപിടിക്കാമെന്നു തോന്നാം; എന്നാൽ അദ്ദേഹം—ക്ഷത്രിയനായിട്ടും—ബ്രാഹ്മണത്വം പ്രാപിച്ചു, ഹേ ദ്വിജസത്തമന്മാരേ.
