Transliteration

evamuktvā sahasrāṃśustataścādarśanaṃ gataḥ | śaṃkho'pi tatkṣaṇātsnātvā pūjayitvā divākaram

Translation

ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് സഹസ്രാംശു (സൂര്യൻ) പിന്നെ ദർശനാതീതനായി. ശംഖനും അതേ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ചെയ്ത് ദിവാകരനെ (സൂര്യനെ) പൂജിച്ചു.
