न कश्चित्कुरुते यज्ञं तीर्थ यात्रामथापरम् । न व्रतं नियमं चैव दानस्यापि कथामपि
na kaścitkurute yajñaṃ tīrtha yātrāmathāparam | na vrataṃ niyamaṃ caiva dānasyāpi kathāmapi
ആരും യജ്ഞം ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല; തീർത്ഥയാത്രയും നടത്തുന്നില്ല. വ്രതവും നിയമവും പാലിക്കപ്പെടുന്നില്ല; ദാനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള വാക്കുപോലും ഇല്ല.
